Ever witnessed the culmination of numbers and symbols, aimlessly floating around in space, into one huge and underwhelming microcosm? That's not really what I'm like. But you can think of me that way.

Chaotichism's News

Posted by Chaotichism - February 28th, 2012

Well now this is interesting.

For the past few months - about 9 of them, to be approximate - I finally landed a full-time job. My first since graduating. I'm stoked because now I can support myself and help more around the house. Yay. And that means the creative juices will be flowing much more than they have been. (Speaking of creative juices, I'm thirsty...and hungry...) So expect more greatness because this guy right here is gonna be ON IT.

Like...like a mosquito on a human. Or, or, or a unicorn on the news after being spotted in Albuquerque. Yeah.

Kinda coming and going right about now. Been searching for one of those full-time jobs all month with no luck. I guess my attitude is a bit down, but I'm trying my best. I recently saw the trailer for the PSVita - *shrug* - and I'm kinda tempted to do something with orchestral samples. And I also heard a song by a member here that made me jump up and dance. (My last favorite was his song, and his name is L3ak. Check him out.)

So there might be something coming. In the meantime, I might upload something I made a LONG time ago. Maybe 2 or so months ago.

No, actually, it's more like southern New Jersey. But I'm near Philly.

I digress. The move out process has passed, and I am excited, nervous, and already depressed for being back home. But hey, you gotta do what you gotta do. The second I stepped foot into the house, though, more bad news came. Turns out the companies I had interviews with, have more to them than meets the eye. One of them is a scam, and the other is commissions-only and is overall a bad company to work with. I'm disheartened, but I know to be a lot more careful in the future.

In other news, I let my sister play around with FL Studio 8, and I think she's ready to get into making some music of her own. I'm feeling a lot more confident in my ability to make music. I really do need to get into the complexities of it, though. And I think I'm ready. Though, your help would be greatly appreciated. *insert smiley face here because the need to be mysterious and a bit on the serious side requires the lack of use of emoticons and stuff*

Working on [Unreal]ize again. Then I plan on making a few songs for flashes and games.

Alright, so recently I was trying to make some loops for flash games - one for an options menu and another for a (final) boss. However, I just can't seem to get what I want. Then I started experimenting again. And ohhhhh, the joy. Sounds like Tactical Sekt is right in my room making this.

Though that would be an insult to TS. I mean, come on...it's Tactical fuckin' Sekt.

Anyway, you can expect a second instrumental in a few days, maybe. Depending on how smoothly this...move-out process goes.

Hello everyone. I'm a new guy in Newgrounds, but I wanted to simply make something clear. My intent for being in Newgrounds is to upload some of my music and seek out ways to improve. I'm not here to make money or to be approved for having my music used in flash movies or anything. (Though it would be awesome if someone wanted to use it.) One of my passions is music, and I still wish to create more. But I don't want to be stuck in the same place, like I was about a year ago. That's why I joined NG.

Some of these people have been making music for years. Some only for months. But it's nice to see that this place allows constructive criticism and looks down upon needlessly harsh judgment or unnecessarily dramatic praise. I want to know what's good about my music. I want to know what's wrong with it. And I want to know how to fix it, to make it better. I'm really looking forward to making more. Since I've already graduated college, I figured between working (hopefully) and sleeping, I'll have some more time to do music.

Anyway, my first track is up. It's my latest. I may or may not put up some of my older stuff, as well. But please check it out. And I hope that you enjoy.
